We aim to provide the utmost in advanced and comprehensive treatment for our patients. Our qualified and experienced dentists offer a wide range of services, while our specialist associates can deal with more specialised issues.

With many years of extensive experience in general dentistry, we offer a careful selection of dental services including:

Preventive Dentistry

Preventive care in a dental office includes prophylaxis, or the cleaning of the teeth, which removes accumulations of calculus. It includes examination of the teeth and soft tissue, using visual and tactile exams, radiographic examination, such as x rays, and oral cancer screening. Newer techniques to diagnose periodontal, or gum disease, include computerized measurement devices that measure the bacterial content in the mouth

Oral Surgery

Oral Surgery includes the diagnosis, surgical and related treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and esthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the head, mouth, teeth, gums, jaws and neck. It involves, but is not limited to: dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, apicoectomy, TMJ disorder, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, osseous tissue surgery, anesthesia and bone grafts.

Prosthetic dentistry

Prosthetic dentistry involves the restoration or replacement of teeth. Prosthodontics is the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitute.

Implant dentistry

A dental implant is a “root” device, used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth. Virtually all dental implants placed today are root-form endosseous implants, i.e., they appear similar to an actual tooth root and are placed within the bone. Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, implant-supported bridges ordentures. They can also be used as anchorage for orthodontic tooth movement. The use of dental implants permits undirectional tooth movement without reciprocal action.

Endodontics

Endodontics deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. Endodontists perform a variety of procedures including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, surgery, treating cracked teeth, and treating dental trauma. Root canal therapy is one of the most common procedures. If the pulp (containing nerves, arterioles, venules, lymphatic tissue, and fibrous tissue) becomes diseased or injured, endodontic treatment is required to save the tooth.

Aesthetic dentistry

Aesthetic and/or Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance (though not necessarily the function) of a person’s teeth, gums and/or bite. Cosmetic dentistry may involve:

  • the addition of a dental material to teeth or gums – examples: bonding, porcelain veneers (laminates), crowns (caps), gum grafts.
  • the removal of tooth structure or gums – examples: enameloplasty etc., gingivectomy.
  • neither adding nor removing dental materials, tooth structure or gums – examples: teeth whitening (bleaching).
  • straightening of teeth accompanied by improvement in appearance of face Orthodontics.

Pedodontics

Pedodontics is the branch of dentistry dealing with the care and treatment of children’s teeth (from birth through adolescence). This discipline focuses on pediatric/adolescent growth and development, disease causality and prevention, child psychology and management, and all aspects of the highly-specialized Pediatric restorative techniques and modalities.
